Acceptable Use Policy

snizzly is a writing-school disguised as a toolkit. The detector, the humanizer and the rest exist so writers can practise meaning, not so anyone can launder a lie. This policy spells out the bright lines.

Last reviewed · 2026-05-24

1 · What you may do

  • Use the humanizer to recover your own voice after a tool flattened it; use the detector to audit your own text before you submit it.
  • Use the writing coach, grammar checker, citation generator and summarizer to study and improve your craft.
  • Build legitimate B2B and academic-tooling integrations against the public API, within your rate limits and quota.

2 · What you may not do

2.1 Misrepresentation and academic fraud

  • Submit our humanized output as work that is wholly your own to any academic institution or examination body that requires original human authorship, in violation of that institution’s rules.
  • Use the detector’s output as the sole basis for an academic misconduct accusation against another person. Detector scores are one signal, never a verdict.

2.2 Harm to people

  • Generate or refine content that targets, harasses, defames, or incites violence against any person or group.
  • Generate content sexualising minors. We refuse, log and report such attempts to the relevant authority.
  • Generate disinformation campaigns, coordinated inauthentic political content, or impersonation of real persons or officials.

2.3 Harm to the service

  • Bypass authentication, rate limits, abuse caps, or the quota enforcement on free-tier accounts.
  • Scrape, mirror, or otherwise systematically extract our content, models, prompts or detector calibrations.
  • Resell access by sharing credentials or by intermediating API keys to unaffiliated end users without a written reseller agreement.

2.4 Unlawful use

  • Any use that breaches the laws of the United Arab Emirates or the laws of your own jurisdiction.

3 · Our refusal posture

snizzly refuses requests it judges as falling into §2 above, returns a structured refusal, and may flag the account for review. We treat the refusal posture as a feature, not a bug — institutional buyers rely on it as a procurement-grade signal.

4 · Enforcement

  • First-time, low-severity, observe-only: an in-product warning and a logged note on the account.
  • Repeated or moderate-severity: temporary suspension and a written notice giving the account holder a chance to respond.
  • High-severity (CSAM, coordinated disinformation, attempts to circumvent abuse caps at scale): immediate termination, retention of records for investigatory purposes, and reporting to authorities where required by law.

5 · How to report abuse

Suspected abuse of the service goes to abuse@snizzly.com. Include the relevant URL, account email if known, and a brief description of what you observed. We acknowledge within two business days.
